    Zeta Aug 2023 - Present

    Worked as an SDE 2 at Zeta

    • As part of Payzapp's Card & Accounts team, managed passbook and notification services for over 1.3 million daily transactions.
    • Developed the backend for Pay Again and UPI payment history screens, driving a >20% increase in transactions through these channels.
    • Spearheaded the complete ownership of the Pixel Credit Card on the HDFC Payzapp app, overseeing the entire lifecycle of card operations, including transaction handling, enrichment, statement APIs, low-level design, development, testing, and cross-team collaboration to ensure compliance and system reliability.
    • Led the implementation of the physical dispatch process for Pixel Credit Cards through multiple courier services, automating delivery and return tracking via batch reports.
    • Optimized API development with multithreading and parallelization, ensuring latency under 500 ms and 99.5% system availability.
    • Proactively identified and resolved service issues during on-call support, leading to an 80%+ reduction in alerts for API SLA breaches, ensuring the stability and health of customer-facing services.

    Jio Platforms Ltd July 2021 - July 2023

    Worked as an SDE at Jio Platforms Ltd

    • As a part of the Core Data Platforms team, designed and developed highly scalable REST APIs serving both on-premises (Hive, HBase, Cassandra, MySQL, Kafka) and cloud (Azure Cosmos DB, GCP BigQuery, GCP Bigtable, GCP Pub/Sub) services using Java Spring Boot.
    • Developed the frontend of the API Management Portal for monitoring, visualization, and access control of homegrown APIs. Utilized ReactJS, ReduxJS, and ANTD UI framework.
    • Took ownership of managing the open-source project Apache Superset.
    • Automated CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps, Bash Scripts, and deployed applications on Azure App Service, Docker Swarm, and GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
    • Ensured high availability of services using ZooKeeper Service Discovery, MySQL HA (Master/Slave), and implemented scaling of applications on Azure App Service, Docker Swarm, and GKE. Implemented metrics capture and visualization using Prometheus and Grafana.
    • Wrote comprehensive test cases using JUnit, Jest, and Cypress, achieving 90-100% code coverage. Performed load testing using both JMeter GUI and CLI.
    • Worked extensively with various GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, GKE, CDNs, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Data Fusion. Also gained experience with Azure services including Cosmos DB, Azure Active Directory, CDNs, App Service, and Synapse Analytics.
